I'm so happy that so many people can gather in one place and enjoy the games we've made.
When I was in high school, I used to go to a small game center every day.
Eventually, I started holding game tournaments there for games like Puyopuyo and Super Street Fighter 2X. There were about 30 participants, but it was a lot of fun.
My love of video games started with the game tournaments at the small game center. Both men and women, young and old, took part in these tournaments.
In Japan, especially when you're young, communities are divided by age. It was great that I was able to enjoy events regardless of age or gender through video games.
Now I am on the side of making games. I am very happy that the games I have been involved with have become tournament events, and that many people from different countries have gathered to enjoy them.
I hope that I can make more friends through video games and game music.
I will continue to work hard to make video games and game music that can be enjoyed by people of all countries and generations.
